How extendedReach Case Management Software Helps With Casework Organization
The extendedReach team is full of caring people who are passionate about supporting agencies in every way we can! Curt Coty, extendedReach’s Senior Software Engineer Lead, took some time to chat about his experience as a software engineer as well as his work with extendedReach. Read on to learn about some of his favorite features.
First, would you share your professional experience prior to becoming a part of extendedReach?
I’ve been working as a software engineer for over 25 years. Prior to joining KCare (extendedReach’s parent company), I was leading the development of a website designed to sell wholesale grocery products and services to retail businesses. I’ve also worked in a manufacturing facility developing software and processes to help people collaborate more effectively.
Can you describe an example of how extendedReach saves our customers time?
extendedReach helps clear the clutter. All casework is organized into an online case file so finding documents and searching for information is greatly simplified. On a single page, extendedReach displays all the important information for the day, including upcoming tasks that are due, referral information, documents submitted by foster homes, recent activities, approval requests, and more.
What is one of your favorite features of extendedReach?
I love our custom form builder. This feature allows agencies to design their own activity tracking forms and then use that collected information on a report they can design themselves. extendedReach can even help enforce agency standards by automatically scheduling activities or reports based on an event like the opening of a new case, a birthday of a client, or a certain day of the month or year. It’s a very powerful and flexible feature.
The extendedReach team works hard to provide you a reliable, intuitive, easy to use product, and our 91%+ customer satisfaction rating doesn’t lie! We proudly serve over 25,000 customers across the U.S., and we couldn’t do it without the help of our amazing engineering team. Thanks for taking the time to speak with us, Curt!
